George Gentry
Forester, 45+ years
I have spent a lifetime in forestry in California. I have worked as a field forester in the private sector, assisting landowners in management of their lands, and in government with the State Board of Forestry and Fire Protection developing policy and regulation. Currently, I serve as the Senior Vice President for Calforests, assisting in policy and regulatory development for the forestry sector.

Each cohort runs for approximately 4 months. Because of this, it’s essential that each student carefully consider their schedule before enrolling. Please reach out to the instructor if you have further questions about this time commitment.

While we can’t guarantee a passing grade, students who fully complete this cohort enjoy about a 70% pass rate. This is significantly higher than the historic average pass rate of 40% for the RPF exam.
